Shoestrings and a Dream Photography

“Creativity doesn’t need a budget, just imagination!” Shoestrings and a Dream Photography is a creative photography project, dreamed up by friends and creative partners David Burnett and Lauren Schlepp. We began doing creative photoshoots under David’s personal photography, then in 2022 created “Shoestrings and a Dream Creative Photography” with the aim of showing that you can make innovative and stunning photography on a shoestring budget. Equipment, budget and space limitations don’t have to limit your creativity, because everything this duo does takes place on the street or a small corner of an apartment. David's background is in Graphic Design and Lauren’s is in Museum Curatorship, so their combined experiences make for a unique powerhouse of skills. *We don't do body edits on the photos. We believe it's important to show that realistic bodies in their raw form ARE ART. Colors may be enhanced, or flyaway hairs smoothed out but what human you see, is what human you get.
