Aimee Eischen
Oklahoma City, OK
A lifelong creative and now a self taught painter, Aimee’s expressive and intuitive abstract work is a translation of all that surrounds her. The use of color in her paintings becomes a unique language, communicating emotions for both the artist and the viewer. Aimee’s highest goal is to convey a sense of hope, joy, and healing; providing a feeling of human connection through shared story. Her vibrant and bold abstract paintings can be floral inspired or simply a space for imagination. They are created with different mediums, including acrylic, watercolor, graphite, charcoal, ink, oil stick and oil pastels. Aimee’s intuition and literary background play a strong role in her work. Each painting starts with words on the canvas - verses, song lyrics, poetry, or meaningful names. Even though they won’t be seen when the painting is completed, they are the foundation underneath that is the spirit of the piece. Eischen paints from her home studio in Oklahoma City. She is a wife and mother to 4 children through the messy-beautiful journey of open adoption. She draws inspiration from nature, music, faith, family, and the stories of people she encounters. Aimee loves to add beauty to the world around her and looks for opportunities to partner with other organizations that invest in the people in their communities. She spends time teaching others about the healing aspects art can bring as well as donating art to causes that touch her soul. Aimee’s paintings have been featured in multiple galleries and venues across the nation and are sold at local galleries, online, art shows, and various events. She also has a passion for creating meaningful commissions for her collectors.

Gina Wallen-Conatser
Yukon, Oklahoma
Gina often refers to her art as “accidental” because her unique technique to create vibrant, pour-over abstract art was discovered during an objectiveless artistic experiment. She originally crafted abstract art that was inspired by the life stories and personality traits of those close to her. The end results consisted of vibrant and beautiful colors that also created a personal portrait of emotions and essence that would otherwise be unexpressed through the limitations prescribed by conventional modes of art. And while her technique was an accident, her unwavering desire to create beauty, personal expression, and vibrancy is long-founded. She found inspiration as a young girl by watching her grandmother create extravagant realism paintings from memory, and she applied this inheritance of creativity extensively throughout her professional career by designing, decorating, and developing model homes and commercial real estate. Now, she uses her pour-over abstract painting and her knowledge of interior design as a former developer, interior decorator, and builder to create one of a kind works of art that are both aesthetically breathtaking in appearance and provoking in their ability to create and express feelings ordinarily inexpressible. Her ultimate aim in her “accidental” artistic adventure, however, is to simply bring joy to others, and she would be sincerely honored to create something that brings positivity into your life.

Roxxann Murphy
Norman, OK
My name is Roxxann Murphy. I draw mostly abstract swirling designs and sometimes portraits with those designs. Each line is informed by a previous line. I find the real magic is made with how the lines intersect. Unless I’m starting with the portrait outline, all my other abstract work is unplanned and highly intuitive.

A. Day's Work LLC
Edmond, OK
By owning A. Day’s Work, your investment accurately reflects the time and perseverance embodied by each carefully handcrafted piece - work that represents the preservation of culture and language through modernization. After more than a decade performing music on the world stage in NYC, I have returned home to Oklahoma where I focus full time on artmaking and creating new work. My original designs are heavily influenced by my Muscogee Creek culture and Fuswalge (bird clan). Inspiration comes from personal and societal events, ancient traditional Native designs, all the while guided by nature. I began exploring the idea of a new aesthetic and pushing the boundaries of conventional Native art upon developing the medium of acrylic and beadwork on canvas in 2018. Sewing seed beads into canvas takes significant patience, and I find myself meditating upon the subjects that guide my life and my work, especially in moments of freehand sewing. It is my hope that my works will bring the same thoughtful and reflective vitality to the spaces they occupy, where life happens. Thank you for considering A. Day’s Work as part of your art collection. I am grateful for your support and remain always respectfully yours, Mvto, xo! (Thank you, xo!) Andrea Day

Allison Guess
Oklahoma City, OK
I was looking for that place where I could quiet my mind and calm my heart. When I go out to walk and am looking for sticks, I am listening for what story I want to tell. When I am weaving on the loom, there is something healing about being aware of how small, consistent movements are creating a much larger picture of beauty.

I am a self-taught Mixed Media artist born and raised in Oklahoma City. Most of my past artistic work has been portrait work in graphite or digital. I was inspired to switch mediums after developing an autoimmune disease that reduced the range of motion in my fingers. This forced me out of my artistic comfort zone and also pushed me to sharing my art publicly for the first time. I have exhibited my work at the Paseo Arts and Creativity Center.
