Allison Guess

This loom is unique, the main image is on the larger area and there is a smaller weaving on a curve of the branch. There are parts that reminded me of red Oklahoma dirt and a turquoise sky. The single stem and leaves were not intended to be wheat, but I kept calling it that after choosing the color. The stick loom was found in Oklahoma City on an evening walk.

This stick loom was found in Oklahoma City. It is the abstract form of sea waves coming onto the shore.

It was not me who brought the water to the sea

This stick loom provided a double weaving space. The colors were on my mind when I had a memory of eating vanilla ice cream with peaches on top. It felt like a happy time.

I wanted to capture the colors of the sunset in picture I had taken.
