Born November 22nd, 2000, in Torrance, California, now residing in Edmond, Oklahoma. Brandon Pascua is a visual expressionist mixed media drawer working towards his bachelor's in Fine Arts at the University of Central Oklahoma. "I am a visual artist who explores themes of spirituality, expressionism, and identity through my work. I experiment with various mediums such as acrylics, charcoal, and pastel. I also would often mix a variety of those mediums if necessary to create a more diverse range of mark-making. Drawing is a way for me to not only express myself, but it is how I respond to life and cultivate further curiosity about it. While working directly from life is vital to my practice, most final images come from imagination or memory, forming a personal narrative. I embrace visible evidence of the process and welcome mistakes, which allow the work to evolve authentically and organically."
