Description:
This piece is a mixed media work with acrylic on a 12" round canvas, cotton floss embroidery, and a gold mirror tile border around the sides. The embroidered flower crown are all Oklahoma Wildflowers to represent my heritage in Oklahoma and being a little wild just like the flowers. I created this for an exhibit for one of my professors at OBU that passed away who often created portraits of women that were entirely made of embroidery on canvas.
