Reshon Shirley

Reshon Shirley is a self-taught artist from Phoenix, Arizona and grew up in the heart of Oklahoma City. Her main subject matter are botanicals and florals, using an old Victorian Language of Flowers to create pieces of deep emotion. Watercolor and ink are her main mediums but she enjoys just about any other medium as well. As a Black Artist it is her goal to change the narrative about what it means to be a Black Creator and that we can create works that actually resonate with us rather than what we think the world expects from us.
