"This piece is a meticulously hand-cut linocut block print, hand-pressed and then hand-embellished on premium 300 Strathmore print paper. Inspired by a recent hike to the petroglyphs in Gold Canyon, Arizona, this artwork captures the essence of ancient artistry encountered along the journey. Each block was carefully drawn and then hand-carved, allowing for a unique printmaking process that brings the designs to life. Following the printing, I further enhanced the piece using a combination of acrylic and oil paints, adding depth, texture, and color to create a vibrant homage to the petroglyphs' timeless beauty."
